About Us

Coach Daniel has 25 years of coaching experience. He is a men's baseball coach and a youth boys/girls travel basketball coach. Coach also runs travel softball and club volleyball teams. He coaches local baseball, flag football, and soccer. He has 18 years in education with 13 of those years as an assistant principal at Chicago Public Schools. Coach Daniel is a certified coach, National Fastpitch Coaches Association Member, Junior Volleyball Association Certified and USA Basketball Gold Coach Licensed.

Coach Andy started playing basketball in his early years, continued at Maine South, and continued his collegiate career at Harper College and Cardinal Stritch in Wisconsin. He has been coaching youth teams for the past 7 yrs. His philosophy of coaching includes, focusing on developing the whole player, both on and off the court. He believes in training players to succeed not only at their current level but also at the next level of their basketball careers. He consistently emphasizes teamwork, communication, collective success, community, and positive attitude over win-loss records. Coach Andy is the father of two female basketball players! His younger daughter is on our 14u Elite.

Coach Matt worked with Niles West 8th grade feeder program from 1997 until 2003. He has also coached at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity for the 2022-2023 season.This year, he began coaching at St. Eugene. He is the father of two Spartans, and loves being near the bench to support them and their teammates.

Coach Bob is an instructor at the Chicago Fire Academy. He has experience coaching boys and girls basketball at Immaculate Conception School. He has come to the Spartan team ready to develop and challenge young players to be the best. He believes that hard work and dedication is what it takes to be a great ball player.

Coach Morgan is currently working on getting her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science. She has been playing basketball for over 12 years, three of them at the collegiate level. She is known for being able to knock down threes, hustling down the court, and always loving her team and teammates. This is Morgan's first coaching experience. She is excited to be part of the Spartans' Team and share her knowledge with younger players. We are also excited to have Coach Morgan as part of our team!

In addition to coaching, Coach Connor is also working for TEC out of Elgin, IL. He played 7 years of basketball, 2 of those years with his AAU travel team. He is a great spot-up shooter and has a love for the fundamentals of basketball. He is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and love of the game with our Spartans' players. Coach Lileigh is studying Neural Engineering at the University of Illinois - Champaign. She spent 10 years playing AAU basketball. She also played 4 years at Resurrection College Prep. She was the Varsity Captain her Senior Year. She is an outstanding defender, cannot miss a three, and reads the floor like no other. She has an extremely high basketball IQ, and share her knowledge and love of game with all she coaches. She has definitely passed on her love of the game to her two younger sisters. We are lucky to have her back again for her 3rd summer with us!

Coach Moira will be a Senior at Resurrection College Prep in the fall of 2024. This will be her second year on Varsity Basketball at Resurrection. She was the Captain on JV her sophomore year. She also plays Tennis and Soccer at Resurrection. She has spent 9 years playing AAU basketball. She can shoot a 3-pointer from anywhere on the court, has lightning speed, and is strong at driving to the basket. She is energetic and really enjoys working with younger players and cannot wait to be back for her 3rd summer with us! Welcome Back!
